Bournemouth East Cliff Lift

Hi,

We've just spent the weekend in Bournemouth. Our hotel was very close to the site of the East Cliff lift.

It just got me wondering, are there plans to repair this?

Bournemouth’s cliff lifts run between Easter and the end of October. They can get you to the beach from the cliff tops and give you great views of the coast (subject to weather).

Unfortunately, due to a significant cliff slide, the East Cliff Lift is currently out of action. Remedial work is ongoing and we apologise for the inconvenience.

That's what I was wondering.

Walking past over the weekend there seems little activity. And the updates on the Bournemouth Council website are from 2016?
