New 62-page book written by Greg Morse published by Shire Books, due out in late July, with some interesting early photographs of BR diesel locos.

That photograph almost looks right. it's a pity that the loco couldn't be totally restored to include the blanked-out quarterlight window being replaced by a clear one and the twin wiper blades re-instated.
Still, it's looking good and is a tribute to all those hours of hard work and serves as a reminder of the days when we could build world-class locomotives in this country.

That looks good. I prefer them in BR two tone green, but having a mix of the two liveries is ideal.
