BVE 2 trains in BVE 4

Hi

Some BVE 2 trains, like the cl313, 314, do not work in BVE 4.

Is there any way to make sure they do, easily, or am I stuck untill a BVE 4 version becomes developed?

There is a "Panel upgrade" utility available from Mackoy's website, which will create the panel2.cfg and other files that you will need.

Unfortunately, this doesn't automatically allow BVE 2 trains to display the BVE 4 timetables. You can do this by opening another train panel2.cfg file, and copying the relevant timetable section to the train you wish to use. By tweaking this bit of code, you can adjust the size and position of the timetable display.

You will not get many of the features (i.e. AWS, TPWS etc) and the physics will be incorrect. This is why BVE4 didn't replace BVE2 but was made in addition to BVE2.
