C2c 16 coach train

Just seen this https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk A 16 coach train on c2c. The previous and next workings also 16 coaches. What would be the reason for this? (There were delays earlier due to points failure at Pitsea.) Is one unit kept out of use? How does the train fit into platforms? Or is this a RTT error?

It will be 8-coach - basically the feed doesn't catch up with a different pair of units being allocated so looks like they both are. Not an RTT error, more a limitation.
