As you may or may not know, until recently the-siding.co.uk consisted entirely of photos taken by myself. Then earlier this year Cliff Price, an ATW driver, kindly sent me a large collection of transparancies taken by himself in the 1970s. I have added some of these to the site (although I've still got a load more to go through). Then I added a few of Damon's pics. Most recently Chris Morgan sent me a couple of pictures including the only GNER liveried class 90 (90024) which I had never seen myself let alone photographed. This has led me to realise that if I want to cover as many classes and livery variations as possible then I need help.

The point of this post therefore is to ask if any of you can help fill a few gaps in the-Siding. There are a few classes that I don't have any pictures of and some classes (class 59 springs to mind) where the photos aren't brilliant to say the least. If you have any reasonable pictures that could help fill these gaps and you wouldn't mind them being used on the-Siding could you please contact me. Your name (or site name if you prefer) would of course appear beneath the picture.

Classes I would particularly like to get some pictures of include the following:

Locomotives: classes 58, 59, 89, 92, class 43 (Warship not HST!)
EMUs: classes 322, 325, 350, 466, 507

I am also interested in livery variations. For starters has anyone got a decent pic of a 442 Wessex unit in NSE livery?

To fit in with the format of the site I would prefer pictures where the date and location are known.

If you would like to help please PM me or use the email address in my profile.

Cheers

Frank

If you want 59s, try Eastleigh.
You can see 92s at Willesden and a lot of them at Ashford
You can see 322s on the Romford-Upminster service (I think)
You can see 325s on the 1S96 16:26 Willesden Railnet-Shieldmuir Mail service.
You can see 350s on generally on the WCML on weekdays.
You can see 466s around SE London suburbs (465/2s are exactly the same).
You know where to see 507s!

True but I suggested Eastleigh because it's nearest to Farnborough :).

Thanks for the 47, although I have rather a lot of 47s already. However if you have any steamers from classes I don't have then I'd be pleased to see them.
