Carlisle to Dumfries - bus?

On the TPE website it is showing "this Scotrail replacement service is likely to be a coach" against all services on Weds next week, however on Trainsplit they are showing as trains, even giving head codes in the details.

Do they allocate headcodes to coaches? I know some highspeed services in Europe codeshare with airlines as they just buy tickets for the train as it's not worth doing an internal flight.

0B00 is what most bus services seem to show as on staff sites like Genius.

All bus services use 0B00. Similarly, all ships that may appear in the timetable database are 0S00.
