In daylight hours? DRS intermodal workings (including the double headed
Tesco Express which heads north around 09:35) and empty FHH coal trains.

Other trains (flasks, Freightliners, mails, departmentals, etc) also run,
but all in the dark at this time of the year, I'm afraid.

Having said that, you might be lucky and see the Heysham flask train,
which is a favourite to run on a Thursday afternoon (14:20 and 16:40)

Yes - the Carlisle to Chirk logs (6J37), Carlisle to Crewe departmental (6K05),
Fiddlers to Newbiggin gypsum (6C40) and Clitheroe cement (4M00/6S00).

All should run on a Monday.
