I dunno if it's just me but the return workings (soton- Castle brom) seem to be running more often recently.

Anyway, I was wondering how often do the castle bromwich- soton and soton- castle bromwich workings actually run? I'm looking for the days that they run etc.

Thanks in advance.

4O20 (loaded) and 4M52 (the empties) run daily (Monday to Friday).

There are also trains from Halewood to Southampton and in the
other direction imported cars from Southampton to Garston!

Ta muchly. I was planning a sortie to Tyseley and I seem to recall that jaguar trains were rather sporadic. In contrast, whenever I went to the wcml, I pretty much always saw one of the Halewoods.

The Soton- garston seems to be another reliable working thru tyseley, along with the leeds-soton liners and eastleigh- mountsorrel ballasts. We should have good weather tomorrow so I'm hoping for shots like this:

I did consider that, what with the new f type variants and xe, not to me tion the f pace. I was comparing the number of trains last year.

They are extending the siding ever so slightly to get extra wagons in too.

Interesting, thanks for that. Where will the additional wagons be coming from, are there any sources of stored WIAs?

There are two sets at least at Crewe on the Shrewsbury line.

They have been there some time so will need fettling but it would be nice to see them back in use.

Oh right, yes it would be good to see them being used as opposed to gathering dust.
