Today I took a trip around London to try and see the diverted Virgin trains down the Greenford branch and ended up going via both Windsor stations! There's some photos here:

Thanks! Wasn't sure how it would turn out, my first attempt at 'proper' train photography I would say - but it seems to have turned out alright

A nice variety of locations. I rather like Windsor, i didn't think I would do as I though it'd be terribly touristy.

Oh it is, you can see from the photo of the Greenline bus that was about the only shot I could get as the entire town centre was full of tourists and buggies meaning it was a nightmare to get anywhere! The safety of the train station was just about fine though, except that we just missed a train and we knew we would, but these tourists walked behind us and were surprised when they heard the diesel engine roar up and tried to run towards it... but were way too late! :P
