Due to engineering works next week a replacement bus service is in operation between Manchester and New Mills Central. The Hope Valley stoppers will be diverted and will make additional calls at Stockport and Hazel Grove. However, it should be noted that:
1. The departures from Piccadilly will be earlier.
2. The diverted services will run ahead of the Buxton services and will get to Hazel Grove faster than Buxton services, so will be useful for Hazel Grove passengers.
3. The diverted services will leave Piccadilly before the EMT service but the EMT service will overtake the Northern service before Stockport, so not so useful for Stockport passengers.
