Where is the worst place you could have a broken down train in the morning peak on the ECML? How about Welwyn North...

A train has broken down at Welwyn North, according to NRES. Anyone know which train it is?

There are massive queues, it's taking up to 20 minutes just to do Hitchin-Stevenage.

Looks like they are diverting via Hertford North, and some trains are being terminated early, as clearly you can't fit that many trains via Hertford! (If the long sections between Hertford and Langley Jn were re-signalled then the capacity could be doubled, but of course this is the ECML ... :( )
[EDIT]
Updates:09:32 The broken down train has now been moved from Welwyn North and train services are able to operate on their normal routes. Due to congestion in the area some services may still be diverted via Hertford North adding approximately 15 minutes to journey times

There would be still problems as no more than 18 electric trains can go over the Hertford loop in a 1 hour perion. (18 for each direction)
