My second outing since lockdown. Walking the old GCR from Charwelton to Catesby Tunnel and Viaduct on the 21st of July. 54 years since the last time I passed over this section by motorbike in 1967.
The walk outwards was via the official footpath but retuned walking over the high embankment above the tunnel and getting up close to the 5 air vents. Includes walking the track bed from the tunnel
north portal to Catesby Viaduct. There is short video clip listening to the sound of the machinery and work taking place within the tunnel for the F1 Test facility.
