hi

I'm thinking of taking the children to London for the day in October half term, they are aged 18,16,12 the oldest 2 have railcards.

Travelling from either Yate, Stroud or Bristol Parkway, or any other local ish stations!

leaving around 9 and returning about 9 ish or later - not so bad as they're older!

Was looking at monday 28th oct - but can be any day really!

Many thanks:D

The cheapest? Probably to take advantage of a Routeing Guide anomaly (there are some whopping anomalies in that area), though your journey would be unlikely to be hassle-free.

The cheapest hassle-free fares for travel at those times on the Monday are currently from Stroud. There's Advances on the 09.05 departure for £58 for the group, and 20.45 departure for £28.20 for the group, totalling £86.20.

Later departures are even cheaper. These tickets don't include any travel within London such as the tube.
