Hi folks does anyone know which 68's have not been on the slam door set from Marylebone-Bicester/Banbury since they started. as I just wondered if 68014 and 68015 have ever worked it.
I know that 68008, 68009, 68010, 68011, 68012 have not sure about 68013 come to mention it.

Yes they have, it’s a standard pool. 002/018 are the only outlyers.
Wow 68001 has worked for Chiltern that must have slipped through the net then. And also all the TPE 68's have if that's what you are implying then.
I do think you have got the wrong end of the stick. I was asking has any of the Chiltern allocated 68's not worked the slam door set.

No I was saying all the Chiltern ones have as you asked and 002/018 are the non-Chiltern ones that have. Wasn’t implying anything about non-Chiltern ones as it was 013/014/015 you were questioning.

68010 - 68015 are all in silver, I think at least one from that batch has been branded as Chiltern.

The Chiltern branding was put on 68015 when it attended the Severn Valley Diesel gala. One side was put on at Wembley and the other was done when it arrived on the Severn Valley.

68008 & 68009 which are the spares are in DRS colours

13 was unbranded silver when I had it a couple or so weeks ago

That's correct but I think 8 and 9 are also used as a part of the core fleet. I think I've only ever had one silver 68 on my trips, the rest have been DRS liveried.

008 & 009 are not spares, they work just as much as the rest of the them, If they were spares then they would only work when others are not available so you would have one of those sat spare on Wembley all the time, Silver ones spend more time spare than 008 & 009. 008 is currently on a plug door set and 009 on the slam door set, 015 is the spare on Wembley.

to answer the OP as others have said they have all worked on the slam door set, 015 has been on a number of times however 014 not so, It was the last one to be used on the slammers making its first appearance around May 2016 when it worked for a few weeks, It's next appearance was last Thursday evening, It then did both the Friday trips before being swapped for 009 on Saturday.

You can keep up to date with the workings on https://www.class68.co.uk

I would guess the clock is ticking on this one as well with the new legislation coming in in a little over a year.. Do Chiltern have any plans to overhaul this last "classic" rake to complete a common plug door fleet?

Considering what is happening (or not) at Wabtec re door mods, then no chance.
