Does anyone know whether you can upgrade to Chiltern Business Zone onboard?

I'm travelling to Birmingham next week, and my company will only pay for Standard Class. If a loco hauled set arrives, I'm tempted to pay for the upgrade myself. Just didn't know if you can pay the conductor on board.

I Like the fact that one of the 'benefits' is modern carriages. Although accepting that they've done a good job with these carriages, could hardly call MkIII's modern.
