So I guess it's just a ticket for someone who wants to travel Gt Missenden to Marylebone only. With no break of journey, and on Chiltern Railways only?

I would also question the legality if break of journey is prohibited since the tickets were issued subject to the NRCoC, unless they create entirely new fare types for these machines.

The machine itself says on it that the tickets are issued under the NRCoC, even though the tickets have no reference to it.

It's a shame that Chiltern didn't adapt a Shere or similar machine that prints on real ticket stock instead, as this machine looks like a usability disaster. Presumably Barclays and/or Parkeon were already developing such a machine for car parks and they ended up cheaper than adapting a real TVM.

I really hope these TVMs don't become more common. There is no magnetic strip on the tickets for barriers and I'm willing to bet no way to print expiry dates or route, or do more complex or numerous fares other than a handful that have been programmed in. Also it's Marylebone, not "London Terminals"

It would have been nice if the buttons had been relabelled. "+" and "-" changes to "Previous Destination" and "Next Destination", and "i" renamed to "Railcard"
