it's bound to be something nasty on the other end of 715. Apparently if it doesn't go in the book its not real.!!!!I suspect trains will run top-and-tail and not all locos will be out every day. 47715 for example will only be working on the Sunday.
Must be expensive to get that many visitors?
Top and tailing English Electric with Sulzer is bound to trigger some people.it's bound to be something nasty on the other end of 715. Apparently if it doesn't go in the book its not real.!!!!
Keep the rancid wagon and rancid duff together then!Top and tailing English Electric with Sulzer is bound to trigger some people.

It must be quite costly to have five visitors for such a small railway?Three of those locos are from the home fleet so only five visitors which should all be arriving by rail, no doubt brought in by 50008 which is main line registered.
Good for them in taking a risk. Let's get along and enjoy a nice day out.It must be quite costly to have five visitors for such a small railway?
That’s great to hear.As a volunteer of Chinnor, we've had similar sized galas before which have 100% been successful, over subscribed generally visitor wise. Loco swaps happen at both Princes Risborough and Chinnor. Believe it's planned for the 03 (sorry always forget it's number) and 08825 to work brake van rides at Princes Risborough between services with 08825 working the first Chinnor to Princes Risborough service on the Friday morning. I'm down all 3 days in a variety of roles so if you come down don't be shy!
Just over three and a half miles.how long is the line?

Not exactly difficult to plan your moves when there is just one set of stock shuttling up and down all day!The 03 is 069, as listed in the very first post in this thread…
The timetable including loco allocations for this event are now on the BLS website, despite not being published on the CPRR website yet!
No top-and-tailing, thankfully.

Just noticed on the C&PR website that there are driver experiences available, 31108 on Saturday 29th, 45108 on Tuesday 1st and 50015 on Wednesday 2nd
