That departed with much clag engulfing nearby enthusiasts. I think the H&H livery looks ok ish.50008 taking a day out tomorrow working 1005 0T50 to Reading Traincare Depot for 5O50 and 5V50 ECS moves
A very good day had today, despite being a short line there was a lot going on. Busy but not uncomfortably so. Only real complaint was the huge queue for food!
No idea what 47715 was burning, mind, it certainly wasn't diesel!
Waste cooking oil?![]()
Don’t forget that thing hasn’t pulled anything big for quite a while so it needed a good clear out. Noticed it cleared up on the return back to Chinnor.A very good day had today, despite being a short line there was a lot going on. Busy but not uncomfortably so. This is very true!Don’t forget that thing hasn’t pulled anything big for quite a while so it needed a good clear out. Noticed it cleared up on the return back to Chinnor.
Thanks, will bear that in mind for next time. Just a minor gripe rather than a game ender, was still a good day!I think the station has pretty much reached the limit on the number of visitors it can cater for given the limited space. For future reference I'd recommend a stroll down the hill to the village where there's a good bakery/cafe and a couple of other shops. I wasn't quite back before I'd have reached the front of the food queue, but it's a nice leg stretch and the local area getting some custom from railway visitors can't do any harm.
