Great day on Friday notwithstanding the 37 failure in the afternoon. All trains bar the last one fairly full.

A very good day had today, despite being a short line there was a lot going on. Busy but not uncomfortably so. Only real complaint was the huge queue for food!
No idea what 47715 was burning, mind, it certainly wasn't diesel!

I think the station has pretty much reached the limit on the number of visitors it can cater for given the limited space. For future reference I'd recommend a stroll down the hill to the village where there's a good bakery/cafe and a couple of other shops. I wasn't quite back before I'd have reached the front of the food queue, but it's a nice leg stretch and the local area getting some custom from railway visitors can't do any harm.

Don’t forget that thing hasn’t pulled anything big for quite a while so it needed a good clear out. Noticed it cleared up on the return back to Chinnor.

This is very true!

Thanks, will bear that in mind for next time. Just a minor gripe rather than a game ender, was still a good day!

The convoy of locos is expected to leave Princes Risborough at about 11:00 tomorrow - I cant see anything timetabled, but this is what we we're told at Chinnor this afternoon.

EDIT: Running as 0E50, timed to depart Princes Risborough CE sidings at 1151
