I thought this might brighten some people's day, and I don't think anyone else around here has noticed it. There is a small electric private commuter railway in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, called the Choshi Electric Railway. It basically is permanently in the red, and has been struggling to find ways to survive. It has started to diversify away from being a purely railway-based operation, produced a variety of snacks, sweets, etc., which it sells via its website, is producing a film, and has also started a YouTube channel to try and make money that way. While most of the channel's content is purely in Japanese, there is one video, about the 'daily in the life' of a Choshi Railway guard, that has English subtitles.
