I've got a spare AMD Athlon64 4000+ (San Diego Core) going if you want one...

An end to corporatist internationalist hegemony in the world would be a lovely present, so everyone of us who works for a master nowadays doesn't get sold down the river - it would be so nice.

Please note: this rules out leftists, fascists and religious dogmatists out from the off. Are they worth saving anyway? <(

You really shouldn't mention 'Father Christmas' or 'Santa Claus' - you could probably get sued by a few other religions  So, who's area has some Christmas, I mean 'Winter Lights'? :?

There are a couple of gastly examples on the houses opposite mine, which have been causing me considerable problems when trying to sleep! They've been up there for the past few weeks now!

According to you yesterday (on a totally non-Christmas converstation) you said you have now moved into the bathroom so surely this will help, especially if it is on the other side of the house?

Surely you of all people realised that there was an element of sarcasm somewhere in that conversation? ;)

Duh! For starters, the electrics wouldn't like floating in a sink full of water now, would they ;)

Hmm, what would I like...How about:

-An FC 14-day ALR
-My own HST and a few miles of running line to drive on, with a permit to enter NR's lines sometimes (now THAT's a dream!)
-A car for making spotting trips easier (eg, making a SAR on the 0600 to Crewe and onwards to Glasgow, returning the next day possible!)
-A year's supply of Diet Coke
-Supply of Fosters Superchilled and Guiness on tap, as well as a few bottles of Overland Australian Dry Red wine for that special occasion
-A converted MK3 sleeper car for living in, used in the formation of my HST

Now THAT's a wish list for me!

Same here, although I would have to change the Fosters to either Carling or Tetleys Extra Cold. A few other things I would like...

A job. Failing that, a nice big win on the lottery
A new camera
A new car.
Rail prices to come down, or a railcard for over 26's

Absolutely agree with the last one!

How about some socks? Only joking. An EE 12CSVT engine would be nice. Ona more practical level, a table and seats from a Mk II would be a useful to have.

ROFL!!!!

Apparently, A few people have thought that, including train staff on FGW services....

Also, a 1st Class ALR seems to be popular, don't know why ;)

For Chistmas I'd just rather have somebody special. ;)

After all, Christmas is about loving, and being loved by your loved ones, not about who gets the most, or who had the most spent on them, it's far too commercialised these days.

You can also see it's a Freedom of Britain BritRail pass, supposedly unavailable in the UK! It's supposed to only be available to people visiting the UK from Europe or America, wherever they're coming from. I certainly didn't know of a First Class version!

I'll add the following to my Wish List:

-Someone special
-37s continuing with ATW on the Misery Line, more of the Valleys, more of the network in general
-HSTs over more of the network, even if only on irregular basis on some routes
-FC available with ATW and on the Far North Line, over more of the network in general.
