Do you know how to get there (without driving)
Looks like two buses and a walk, is it as bad as it sounds?

Shame Tamworth Castle is unservicable, only had that in pres at Kent and East Sussex-another pig to get to!

Indeed, at weekends it is 2 buses and a short walk to get there from Stoke-on-Trent station. Neither bus ride is particularly long and unbearable though (the bus from the station to the City Centre takes about 5/10 minutes and from there to the stop for the CVR is about 20 minutes). As for the walk, it's not quite as bad as the CVR website makes out IIRC, downhill getting there, uphill on the way back, I think it took me about 5/0 mins rather than the 15/20 it estimates on the website.
