2021 will see physical work start on the Churnet Valley Railway to extend the 0.85 miles into Leek. This will include the re-introduction into service of the Grade II listed signal box, the re-instatement of the former triangle and opening of a new station within the Barnfields estate.

I just hope the financial difficulties of CVR, and the associated bad publicity following cancellation of Santa trains and very long delays for refunds, with poor communication, doesn't harm the railway's reputation too much.
