Evening all,
I had a bit of a scary moment typing '2015' for the first time at work today! Another year on the lineside is nearly over, and with a crazy few weeks ahead at work I reckon my camera will be staying in the bag until the New Year.
I've not got out as much as I'd like this year, but there's still been chance to get a fair few snaps from around the country. The full lot are available at my Flickr page , but here are a few of my favourites...

46115 Scots Guardsman is captures between Melton Mowbray and Syston East Jn working a charter from London St Pancras to Lincoln. One of my recent efforts whilst coming to terms with this pole photography lark

Possibly one of my absolute fave's from 2014 - GBRf 47s working gypsum from Doncaster Decoy to Drax, seen at Whitley Bridge.

A very fitting tribute to all the fallen from WWI, 91111 For the Fallen is seen under the roof at York.

'Celeb' 66718 on a Tyne Dock coal train shortly after joining the ECML.

47580 County of Essex spent a long stint on Scarborough Spa duties during the LNE steam ban. Here the loco is seen on the return from the seaside resort, passing Kirkham Abbey

Possibly one of the best lit days when I wasn't trapped in my office, 60007 is seen passing Brompton with 6V02 on a warm evening.

A 'fugly' first - 70001 is seen on the very first foray of the class to Teesside, seen here returning south with 4L79 for Felixtowe.

A BR Green 'ped' on revenue freight in 2014, who'd have thought it?! 31190 leads a railvac train back to York following a night's work within an engineering possession at Milford Jn

I couldn't have asked for a nicer day for what may well be my last attempt at Meadow Lane. Cement heads north led by 70002.

An unusual pairing for East Goscote - 57310 is in charge for this EMU transfer, the unit being worked to Derby in order to receive battery modifications.

D9016 takes part in a Timeline Events shoot at the GCR. Nice to re-create a close to realistic 1960s scene - it certainly made up for the day shoot being done for thanks to blanket cloud.

A rather mundane train, but in lovely spring sunshine. 66162 rounds the Sea Wall at Hartlepool having exited a track renewal possession. The train is conveying a rake of spent track panels for recycling.

Two garter blue A4s at Barrow Hill, with Blue Peter visible in the background. This could be an LNER steam shed in action, and was one of the final shoots to involve the two visiting Canadian A4s.

Full circle ... almost 12 months since my latest shot, 1A65 is seen on the Durham Coast. I'm not too keen on the colours on this image but it was a truly breathtaking view that day, and before that damned security fencing sprung up!!
