Does anyone know the details. Stock movements and unit numbers off the five class 150s that are due to transfer from great Western railway to olr northern railway during the course off April 2020. Which most certainly would have replaced during the course off April the final two diagrams off the 142s . Any information is much appreciated.

Yes, they are the last DMUs that were due to transfer into Northern under the old Arriva franchise agreement.

Those are the only 2 transferring, as part of the new GWR direct award, GWR are keeping the remaining 150s
I don't think GWR can loose too many 150s, its a good thing only a couple are going. If I remember correctly they only have a unit or 2 spare although that may have changed.

It was originally rumoured that the Angel 150/2s 150202, 207 and 216 were going to Northern as well but are now staying with GWR for the entire DA3 period and are getting some money spent on them.

Hopefully with a refurbishment to bring them up to scratch, although I wonder if the DfT has relented their fascination with seat numbers for these 3 (being 2+3 than 2+2).

That’s a shame that 150216 is not moving to Northern, that’s the last 150 that I need to travel on. I suppose I will just have to take a trip back to GWR land when we get back to normal times again.

Yes I’m thinking they will get some kind of refurbishment myself.

Yes, 207 did. Still had Northern blinds when it first entered service down South.

Ex First North Western unit too - and despite it's repaint into First GWR Green, still retains it's Northern interior with a miss match of Northern and GWR Signs. It also had various nicknames while in the South in Northern colours including "Palma Violets"
