Is this rare?

Whilst travelling aboard FGW HST saw a 153 off to Coryton at Cardiff Central around 1850 this evening.

Happens often especially at weekends during the summer months to release some pacers to work Swansea - Pembroke dock/Fishguard services with the class 150's providing extra capacity on the heart of wales line.

Booked 153 on a Sarurday. They have been running on this route for some years including Mons to Fris although not booked.
