Not sure about 002, but 003, 005 and 008 certainly are. I think 007 is now reliveried too.
004 is in new livery and working on the Leam - Nun services today.
There was no rake of 3 153s on tbe Snow Hill line yesterday. The rake was 153 354 + 153 371 + 170517
Tbe gangway between the 2 153 cars on the Snow Hill line was definitely open when I worked em yesterday.
Are 170s booked on weekends now on the snow hill line?
Please amend/advise as confirmed.

Yes bud. 21.05 Kidderminster to Dorridge, and 22.33 Dorridge to Worcester are currently booked for a 170/5
That's what I said: 3 coaches, the middle was a 153.
172007 is in new livery. Not long got off it in a pair with 172003 at B'ham Moor St
2 X 153 and a 170/5 is a rake of 4 coaches.
You said "no 170 for sure"
002 is in new livery
Doesn't help when you have a couple of XC services running late, must be fun and games on the single line section for the controllers now passenger services are doubled from what they were before April last year as well as any freight services running that way
Is that all day thanks
Yes bud. Just that one out and back working. All other Snow Hill line trains are booked 172.
It'll be alright from 2026 (on the same weekend as HS2 opens) as the line will have been double tracked and the single line sections will no longer cause pathing issues. Only 7 years of heavily delayed trains to endure......
The dogbox used to get delayed fairly regularly, doesn't help that the freight is still routed that way.
Is there a loop somewhere along there for trains to pass?
Thanks is 172s 1650 bhm-Hereford and 1620 bhm-wos please Saturdays
Yes, just 'north' of Kenilworth
Ah nice. Was the loop built with the station or was it there before?
Before, Kenilworth station is on a single line section
Gone a little pare shaped on the snow hill lines this evening
172 Saturday on Herefords :
15.44 Shrub Hill- New Street via Camp Hill
16.50 New Street - Hereford
18.42 Hereford - New Street
20.50 New Street - Great Malvern.
Booked 2 X 2 car 172 /2
Looks like they might have another go on Friday
The heritage combo was running slightly late to Moor St yesterday evening (no big deal but Chiltern was stuck behind it). The issue was that despite revving the balls out of them, the quite full 153s/170 couldn't make any time back up. 172s would have no problem in comparison. The loading times having also increased considerably too so Chiltern might be having words soon.
I thought it interesting to note that 172/0s and 172/2s are seemingly being used indiscriminately on 172 diagrams out of New Street, as I clocked 172220 leaving New Street on the 16:20 to Great Malvern yesterday. The corridor fitted 172 units are a fairly rare sight at New Street, so it caught my attention.
considered the amount of delays chiltern cause to WMT services i doubt they will have much if any room to complain. Not sure what time you got on it but it was on time until it was delayed due to a late running XC at Tyseley. Difficult to get time back after that as with the amount of trains (Chiltern/XC & even freight) WMT always come last.
