Just seen a 180 (didn't get number as camera battery died) heading Southbound on the down slow line.

Anyone know where it's from at to? Old Oak Common?

At 12:15 have just seen it at Cricklewood sidings.

What livery was it in? Grand Central's 180114 has been earmarked for maintenance.

First Barbie livery, unbranded. No TOPS code that I could see either!

Could it be one of the stored 180s on it's way for a overhaul prior to reintroduction?

102 ready to enter service with Grand Central to cover for 114 while 101 is still at Hull Trains.

i don''t know if this would had something to do with this but 2 Months ago early September i went to Loughborough to see 73209 at Brush! (it was my friend's idea) but while i was there, i noticed some units beelonging to a Class 180 there, wondering if that could have something to do with the Class 180 passing Luton?

Geographically it's down. I don't buy the whole "towards London" thing .

Grand Central actually to cover for 114. 101 is remaining at HT for the time being.

Can anybody tell me why HT are hiring 180101 from GC and GC have 180102 on lease in First colours?

Would it not make more sense for HT to use 180102 and return 180101 to GC?

Aha, I stand corrected. Although I thought 114 was the biggest problem child of the GC fleet.

Simple, GC make a heck of a lot of money from leasing 101 to HT; obviously enough for it to be better financially to lease another (i.e. it costs GC less to lease 102 than they would receive from HT for 101, so an overall 'profit', if you'd call it profit in this instance).
