314214 on the 1051 Glasgow Central-Glasgow Central via Cathcart
Noticed this morning the 0846 Glasgow Central - Newton service was a 6 car 314 as usual, but at least the rear unit looked like it was covered in graffiti. It was in Saltire livery though so it couldn't have been 314205. The graffiti levels in the last 6 months or so seems to be pretty bad for Scotrail, especially on the 314s!
Class 314 Withdrawals < --- A reminder of the subject of this thread
Interesting you mention grafittied trains, thus far I haven't noticed it. Certainly the 314s are getting pretty grubby but I haven't seen one 'decorated' so far.
There was a carmine and cream one graffitied , was scrubbed but can still see the evidence above the windows

One of the carmine and cream ones stored at Yoker shows signs of having had a considerable amount of graffiti removed at some point, there are still traces above the window line on that one.May well have been the unit is saw this morning then. I didn't particularly look for signs of grafitti damage but noticed it looked pretty filthy.
That's 314 205 - proper grubby it looks. There was a carmine and cream one graffitied , was scrubbed but can still see the evidence above the windows

Is that a different set to 314205?
314214 on the 17:18 Neilston (single set)
314205 on 17:12 Paisley Canal which is being delayed (uh oh)
314209 and 31420+ on the 17:37 Neilston
I think the 1718 Neilston was a single set because of the signalling problems earlier in the day... that would've been a comfortable journey.Odd that the 1712 Paisley Canal was a 314 and the 1718 Neilston was just a single set.
So myself and a mate are heading up to Glasgow on Sunday for a few days, apart from the few 314s still out and about, are the remaining ones at Yoker? Is it worth getting out and going to any of the overbridges (Kelso St, Dyke Road)?
There are lots sitting in Yoker, the ones at Shields are hidden away.So myself and a mate are heading up to Glasgow on Sunday for a few days, apart from the few 314s still out and about, are the remaining ones at Yoker? Thanks @hexagon789 and @Scotrail314209. There's no vantage points at all for Shields either is there? Is it worth getting off at Yoker and taking a walk round or would a couple of passes on the train be sufficient?

That's probably my videoThere’s a video uploaded on YouTube today of 215 leading 207 westbound through Glasgow Central Low Level. Anyone know when and why this movement happened? I had thought that the units had moved from Shields to Yoker separately at the end of May/start of June.

and yes they were running this service:

Probably being kept serviceable for time being and probably an examMany thanks. I wonder why they were moved back to Shields?
