Yes they are handed back at Ilford to the ROSCO. Everything at Northampton remains on lease.

By the way, 5Q60 is normally a 47+360+47 movement, I've seen most of them so I know the headcode well!

That working is indeed for 360114 going back south after mods.
The 315s at Northampton currently are: 315808 & 315822, 315831 & 315803, and 315825 & 315812. Of these, 315825 & 315812 are the only two off-lease and are awaiting movement for scrapping.

Once 812 heads for scrap, the angry eye 315s will pretty much be extinct should 809 indeed be getting taken apart at Wolverton

I believe the Northampton Scrap move is off as the loco to haul it did not come from Leicester.

Even though it's opposite where I live, I've not seen any 315's at the Works for a long time, so it's possibly not there, although someone who works there or who is very nosy/in the know might be able to answer for sure.That’s alright, I’m not that perfect either sometimes!

Sad times, do you or anyone else know if any more are coming up to Northampton for storage, as it will enable me to get some more shots of them before they disappear. I'm aware of tomorrows scrap move which is passing my local of Wolverton at last as they're usually routed via Northampton or Bletchley along the Marston Vale aren't they?

re travel, out of london Liverpool street on west anglia services to enfield, cheshunt and chingford! please check engineering work before you go, as may be a reduced service. also between romford and upminster!
