With the infiltration of 710's on WA side seemingly gaining the upper hand presumably this will become a more regular occurrence again or are LO keeping hold of all theres until the 710's have bedded in?

Correct, this weeks ones to circle the bin are 812/825. 812 was out today.

812 being the last angry eyed set in service too. Will be a shame to see that one make its last journey eventually.
Speaking of angry eyed sets, is 809 still in storage at Wembley?

315809 was taken to Wolverton Works at the beginning of April. I think it's still there but I'm not 100% sure.

it's down as off-lease on trainlogger (or at least with eversholt rail, which is trainlogger speak for off-lease) so i'd imagine it is stored somewhere, presumably Wolverton.

Looks like 315809 will be the sole surviving angry eyed set soon! According to the Fb group, 812 + 825 will return to Ilford on August 13th then head for scrap the following day. I do not know which scrapyard they’re off to but it’s very likely to be Sims Metals Newport

So they take them to Northampton - then back to Ilford before they go for scrap? What happens at Northampton - component removal?

It would appear that 315809 is slowly being taken apart at Wolverton Works as part of a corrosion investigation. Pretty much means that the angry eyed sets are nearing extinction since 812 is due to head for scrap soon

Not sure if this the right place to ask....but why did some 315's receive the Electrostar-style "angry" headlights?

Are 315812 + 315825 still in warm storage at Northampton?
I believe so. There also appears to be a path on RTT tomorrow from Ilford to Northampton Up Sidings so maybe some more 315s are joining them?

315808 and 315822 both went to Northampton today, while 315812 and 315825 went the other way, returning to Ilford E.M.U.D.
