Class 318 TBox Overhaual

The Class 318 are to receive a TBox overhaul starting from November at Brodies Kilmarnock which will include a repaint.

Wasn't sure myself either. A search online suggests TBOX means time based overhaul.

The scope of the work includes the safety critical overhaul of a number of components including traction equipment, doors, air reservoirs as well as exterior re-livery.

Really hoping that this will include a good washing of the windows which are always ridiculously dirty. On second thoughts I don't suppose it matters, there's only suburban Glasgow to see outside.
