Its awfully easy to get to EMR Kingsbury from those sidings.... (just speculating, no knowledge)
Yes. Locomotives can either top n tail out off the sidings. And then haul to Kingsbury . Via Burton on Trent and Tamworth and then at kingsbury sidings one locomotive comes off and the other just pushes them in.
Or a locomotive on its own can do the job. However will need to lead out off Burton Wetmore sidings onto the loop. Detach. Then shunt around light engine via the crossovers etc. Attach front end and then via Tamworth straight to kingsbury iff going there same should apply for Newport Docks Simms iff going there.

No, there is booked working for them as 8 car sets in the May timetable.....three 8 car circuits per day utilising six of nine remaining units.
Interesting news. Don't suppose there is any idea what the diagrams from May will be? Looking to arrange a visit so might wait until May if they are better diagrams.

At this stage the diagrams are being worked on. I would add that although the last base diagrams had 319 work on them, its easy to amend them via STP to 350 coverage should there be a shortage of serviceable 319's.

We' ll know nearer the time......

No, we can be very confident that no further 769 conversions will happen. The production line is now closed.
Ah right ok.

Parcels. The usual routine is you get some vinyls stuck on, get some PR in a tame rail mag, do a trial run and then scrap the trains anyway. o_O
Any ideas to what happened to the ROG Parcel service? It stopped all of a sudden.

No idea. I don’t think any of the dedicated threads about parcels trials explain exactly why either. I just assume despite the hype they’re not competitive?

003+429 in Camden, haven't moved since 03/03/22.

013, 216, 218, 460 at Burton.

433 is in Bletchley TMD shed.

214+215+012 working diagram posted on previous page

219+220 at Kings Heath.

Oh right ok. Guess time will tell on this one as nobody is really sure about it.

I assume that current electricity & diesel prices wipe out the thin margins available for this type of work.
Maybe. Like I said time will tell on this one.

003? Assume you meant 005?

Also 217 and 457 are sat on Bletchley carriage sidings.

2 at Camden, 2 Bly c/s, 1 TMD, three on service, two at kings Heath….those are the 10 left with LNR.

Seen pictures taken this morning of a Northern 319 being broken up at Sims Newport... Anyone happen to know which one this is?

Seen a photo of a cab car from 319374 on a low loader on a motorway.
Was it just this vehicle or more ? From what I have read this particular 319 car was used to "deliver" a 769 to Cardiff whilst it's own 769 cab car was still at Loughborough.

Appears that the stripping and eventual scrapping of 319218 has started at Burton Nemesis.

One DTSO vehicle was taken away for scrapping it would seem having seen a TikTok of it. I'll mark it on the list as scrapped.
Shame to see 319218 being scrapped, this was the only Southern 319 I had when they were there before they moved to FCC.
