I won't be sorry if they go. Commuted on them for a few years on the Hayes line. For the faint hearted, bring yer own cushion...
Although compared to a 465 you were more likely to get onto a 376 because people would move down the train more easily. That may not be a problem in the new normal :)

Makes me wonder if the 707s would be better off replacing 376s than some of the Networkers if they're better at both acceleration and internal layout than them, albeit 707s will have better internal layouts than any Networker type.
Yeah. I will say 465/0s and /1s tail off lots above 15mph. /2s and /9s have been clocked 0-60 in around 50 seconds - impressive for a DC unit.
707s are about 30 secs to 45, so pretty good vs about 35 for a 376.
