I should say first that I don't know for sure, but I would have guessed at:

Ashford or Temple Mills (where they are often stabled) on HS1 to St Pancras. Reverse from the station and join the ECML between Gasworks and Denmark St tunnels and off up to York.

But when? No idea. I assume they'll be dragged from London, if not the whole way unless they have ECML clearance.

As I said, all just educated guesswork.

Right okay, thanks for the info.

I'll try and find out. Really interested in seeing it as I live in Newcastle but from Kent.

From the route taken, I would say it would be a good bet that DBS would more then likely be using one of their Class 92s with barrier wagons as I'm not sure the Class 395s are cleared for the East Coast Mainline however I'm equally sure DBS would be more then happy using one of their Class 66s to move the consist.

When South Eastern's Networkers have gone to Doncaster in the past, they're usually Class 66 hauled.

Been interesting to see it though.

The TRU has randomly been pegged on the work rosters as going there, but it's not on the website.

I've checked TRUST today and while it confirms 395019 is in the above consist, it does not confirm that 60015 will be hauling it.

Also there's every chance that Kings Cross PSB will route it via Welwyn Garden City instead of being routed the booked route via Hertford North.

Whats trust

TRUST = Train Running System TOPS

TOPS = Total Operations Processing System

TRUST is basically a computer system that allows rail staff to monitor the progress of trains throughout the network both currently as well as several days into the past and future.

TOPS is also a computer system but this one allows for the management and tracking of rolling stock also across the network. Basically it is an electronic store of information about each individual vehicle on the network including details like maintenance history, what depot and duty it is allocated as well as the current status and location of the vehicle.

Those are somewhat simplistic explanation and I'm sure someone with actual working knowledge of the system will be along shortly to give a more detailed (or perhaps better ;)) explanation.

A 2 car voyager was at YRK with Thunderbird, guessing this is for railfest too? for some good pics :)
Yep, that'll be 221144 that has been brought up from Central Rivers today for Railfest by 57308.

A Scotrail 380 is also currently on the way down the ECML to York from Shields Depot, if it is running to time, and is due to arrive at York at 20:25 this evening.

In fact, there are a lot of moves for Railfest taking place at the moment or in the near future, many details of which can be found in post 6 of this thread:

Nope staff only unfortunately. However, the output is starting to become more accessible through various websites like Open Train Times but it still isn't as powerful as having direct access to TRUST.
