Started a new thread as this information is somewhat buried in the lengthy general Class 800/allocations discussion, hope this is OK.

What are the present weekend diagrams for the GWR Class 800 (and likelihood of actually running)?

Thanks.

No. All the details are in the shorter IEP Diagrams thread

They haven't been running on weekends since they've started service with GWR, however apparently they're meant to be in service this weekend coming. No diagrams released yet however.

Perhaps these diagrams should be added to the Frequently Request Diagrams thread?

As they will be STP diagrams with the individual workings determined on a week-by-week basis, the reliability / availability of such information is surely questionable at best?

Must be set in stone to be included there and as changing all the time as more enter service would it be worth it at the moment. This thread refers to weekends only and these would be all over the place due to the amount of Engineering Work scheduled to take place.

Tomorrow (Saturday 18th Nov) the diagrams commencing with the 06.57 Padd-Bristol and the 07.48 Padd-Bristol are formed from stock from North Pole so should be Class 800's. See RTT for the ECS and subsequent details. ECS links shown below.

From RTT, it looks like there is something similar on Sunday starting with 1C07 and 1C09, and finishing with 1A31 and 1A33.

Ah, weekend diagrams at last. About time!
Note those diagrams were just for last weekend, this weekend (25th/26th), the service is totally different with Didcot to Swindon blocked with diversions via Newbury and Trowbridge. Currently RTT is showing nothing whatsoever from North Pole, but it looks as though there is a turn on Saturday from Stoke Gifford working Bristol to Swindon and back. Things could change later in the week as more data gets released to RTT.

Is there any update on what (if any) diagrams are operated by 800s this weekend? Hopefully there'll be something between Paddington and Reading on Saturday

All Saturday moves to/from Stoke Gifford now shown as cancelled.

There are no moves to from either Stoke Gifford IEP depot or North Pole depot this Saturday so not looking good I'm afraid.

My understanding was that the gwr iet diagrams thread would just get its OP (#1) updated as more diagrams emerged?

It looks as though the only IET diagram this weekend is/was today:

1A22 1505 Bristol TM to Paddington 1713
1C25 1800 Paddington to Bristol TM 2010
Both via Trowbridge and Newbury
I observed 1A22 depart TM with 800008/800009.

As the timetable for next Sunday (3rd) is the same, it looks likely this will also apply then.

As there is engineering work every weekend at the moment, there is little point in posting the WTT diagrams, if there any.

Looks like 1C25 today has been cancelled, the open train times map shows a 5C25 running in its path. Possibly shortage of Train Managers?

From RTT it does look as though this will be the case tomorrow, if anyone fancies a trip up the B&H line tomorrow, Train Manager shortages permitting.

According to RTT today's 15.05 BRI - PAD was terminated at Reading due to a problem with the train. What went wrong?

Hi folks, from taking a look at issue 840 of RAIL magazine (page 26) it suggests that there is a Saturday 0929 Swansea-Paddington booked as a pair of 800's? How likely is this to be the case this coming Saturday? Many thanks.

That was one of the diagrams which was supposed to take effect from 18th November, but did not, so I would have thought most unlikely, however I could be proved wrong, given there is an increase in weekday diagrams from next Monday.

Thank you for the info..much appreciated. Looks like I will be getting a HST Saturday then? Well that's not so bad, making the most of them before they all but vanish.
