Given the circumstances, perhaps the smiley faces are rather unsuitable?

The bogies are almost certainly a right off - there was another 90 fire damaged - so one good loco can be made of 2 , whilst the other one is assessed !l

Pantographs are around 10k or so - not as expensive as bogies or transformers etc ....
I'm actually surprised they are that expensive for what are relatively simple, albeit well-engineered, parts that should be treated as disposable.

It would seem logical to have a single standard pantograph across all UK electric fleets that aren't tilt-body units (Pendolino and possible Super Voyager conversions), high-speed units (Class 395, TGV TMST and Super Express) or using the Channel Tunnel (TGV TMST, Class 92 and Eurotunnel locos). If that was the case, a big bulk order could reduce the price and spares could be bolted on at the nearest depot or even on the site of an incident if that would be more convenient than a drag to a depot.

Have you actually looked at a pan on the floor? There's considerable cost in parts and engineering, they aren't really that simple!

10k would get you a pan on exchange, it wouldn't buy you a brand new BW high speed.

90046 has considerable underframe damage, the bogies/wheelsets will be subject to various tests.
