Class 90 Miniature SnowPloughs

Came across this livery diagram in some of my dads old RTC stuff and the one on the right shows a 90 with miniature ploughs..

Wondered if the class 90s were ever fitted with the brackets for carrying miniature ploughs?

Going by the diagram it looks as if that was the plan at one point. (diagram dated Oct 88)

I can never remember, and never have seen any pictures of them fitted with ploughs so just wondered..

It looks to me that the miniature snowplough variant would have been an alternative to the cowlings/air dams that were fitted around the front end. Clearly, the air dams were fitted instead, which snowplough brackets would have probably interfered with.

Fascinating find!
