This ranger appears not to be on the Northern website. GB Rail Rover Guide says it has no time restrictions, but the 26-30 railcard has a £12 minimum fare (http://www.railrover.org/pages/cleveland-coast-and-whitby-day-ranger.html)
The price with railcard is £9.90.
If I wish to use this before 1000 on a weekday, should I be able to get it issued for £12, as happens with normal tickets that have undiscounted prices between £12 and £18?
BTW, does Newcastle ticket office issue tickets on paper roll (like ManPicc and Bhm NS), as railcards discounts seem not to be printed on such tickets
