I just had to post this. The best piece of parking ever in in Sheffield city centre.
A guy managed to park a crane on the tramlines while he went for a cuppa. (obviously not realising that trams cant drive around his veichle like buses can!!)

Very much doubt it. You only get fined if you are parked NOT causing an obstruction

After a while, the conductor got off the tram and found the driver who promptly moved the crane and parked it in a bus stop instead.
