We next access the line of the Leeds, Bradford and Halifax Junction Railway

Incidentally, I thought that the Great Northern Railway only ever had one station at Dudley Hill which was opened to passengers on 20th August 1856 and closed to passengers on 7th April 1952.

Whilst that station is indeed the first station that we will take when we reach the line of the Leeds, Castleford and Pontefract Junction Railway, there are still three more closed stations to be named on the line that we are on at present, the Leeds and Selby Railway.

Incidentally, the comments that you previously made on a long-passed journey about Holbeck High Level after Armley Moor en route to the Leeds and Selby Railway appear to have been heeded on this particular journey.

Oh dear - I have deleted Kippax but I am away from home so short of my usual reference books so will have to leave it to others to fill in the three missing stations on the Leeds & Selby.
