Please refer to Rule 11 of the rules of this quiz, shown on the very first posting.

I have been away checking on matters and indeed, this is one of the railway stations that were fully constructed but never saw any passenger traffic as none of them were ever officially opened by the Hull and Barnsley and Great Central Joint Railway.

We are currently on the line of the SYR Barnsley to Doncaster Line,

It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line

It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway...Note both 1st and 2nd stations on this line
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Newton Railway
It then follows the line of the Grand Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Darlaston Loop Line
It then follows the line of the South Staffordshire Railway
It then follows the line of the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the MR Sinfin Branch Line
It then follows the line of the MR Melbourne Line
It then follows the line of the MR Leicester to Burton upon Trent Line...via the Woodville loop line
It then follows the line of the GNR Derbyshire and Staffordshire Extension
It then follows the line of the GNR Pinxton Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Pinxton South

The first closed station on this journey is Lybster
