We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 749 in the series so far...

The journey starts at the closed station of Aberfoyle
It follows the line of the Strathendrick and Aberfoyle Railway
It then follows the line of the Forth and Clyde Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Blane Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the E&GR Campsie Branch Line
It then follows the line of the City of Glasgow Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow and Paisley Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway...via the Montgreenan loop line
It then follows the line of the G&SWR Mauchline to Ayr Line
It then follows the line of the Ayr and Dalmellington Railway
It then follows the line of the G&SWR Holehouse Branch Line
It then follows the line of the G&SWR Ayr to Cumnock Line
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway
It then follows the line of the CR Muirkirk to Happendon Line
It then follows the line of the CR Happendon to Lanark Line
It then follows the line of the CR Dolphington Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Leadburn, Linton and Dolphington Railway
It then follows the line of the Peebles Railway
It then follows the line of the Penicuik Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Penicuik

The first closed station on this journey is Aberfoyle

Just a final thought, before I launch the next journey....

After Oldfield Road, but before Pendleton Bridge, would we have passed through Windsor Bridge, Pendleton?

Based on previous discussion on this thread, yes - apologies for missing it, although I am still a bit surprised that Rule 4 doesn't apply as it was very close to if not overlapping with the current station of Salford Crescent.
