I feel you have confused the Rhos station on this GWR branch line (see the journey preamble) with the Rhos station on the GWR Chester to Shrewsbury line. We use this branch line to access the GWR Rhos to Sun Bank Halt line, which in turn will lead us onto the GWR Ruabon to Barmouth line.

Well, we don't actually pass through the platforms at Trevor and we have missed out several closed stations on the way, so I suggest we start again from

Rhos.

Corwen East is a heritage station of the Llangollen Railway.

I feel an adjudication is in order to enable the quiz to move along. After Sun Bank Halt, the first closed station to be met was that of Llangollen (1st station) followed then by the closed station of Bonwm Halt. Noting that the next line to be so traversed would be the Denbigh, Ruthin and Corwen Railway,
the first closed station on that line would be....
