A semi-rural part of north-west England
We next mover to England for the next journey.....

This is number 908 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Wigan Central
It follows the line of the Wigan Junction Railways
It then follows the line of the CLC Manchester to Liverpool Line...via the Widnes Central loop line
It then follows the line of the North Liverpool Extension Line
It then follows the line of the Southport & Cheshire Lines Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool, Southport and Preston Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the West Lancashire Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway...note there are TWO 1st stations on this leg
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Railway
It then follows the line of the LNWR Leeds New Line
It then follows the line of the LNWR Leeds to Stalybridge Line
It then follows the line of the Stalybridge Junction Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Hooley Hill


The first closed station on this journey is Wigan Central
