We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 884 in the series so far.....


The journey starts at the closed station of Sheepbridge
It follows the line of the Midland Railway Main Line "New Road"
It then follows the line of the Sheffield and Rotherham Railway
It then follows the line of the North Midland Railway...via Treeton...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the MR Melbourne Line
It then follows the line of the Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the MR Nuneaton to Birmingham Line
It then follows the line of the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the LNWR Stour Valley Line
It then follows the line of the LNWR Soho Junction to Perry Barr Junction Line...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the South Staffordshire Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Wyrley and Cheslyn Hay

The first closed station on this railway is Sheepbridge

OBSERVATION

Wincobank and Meadowhall.
...The currently open station of Meadowhall was built on the site of this closed station (similar to what occurred when the new station of Liverpool South Parkway was built on the site of the closed station of Allerton).
