Is it correct the Colas cement train from Oxwellmains Lafarge to Seaham Harbour Colas has now ceased? Freightliner ran a service from Tunstead Sdgs to Seaham Harbour Fhh this morning with cement tanks and a return journey this afternoon.

Appears to be the case. FL 66 on duties at the Costa del Seaham this week

As long as the traffic remains on rail it is surely good that the end customer has a choice of suppliers to maintain healthy competition.

Posts elsewhere indicate there are issues at Oxwellmains, so could be the Tunstead service is a temporary fix to keep the supply going. I guess time will tell
