Without them you wouldn't have your beloved railways to litter all over!
Geez, the people who are really biased against steam reallly pee me off, seeing as I put many hours of my own time every week into keeping one on the mainline.

I have to know the workings of 6233 (biggest loco ever built for use in the UK), an 03, a 37 and its EE12CSVT engine, a 40 and its EE16SVT engine and a 50 and its EE16CSVT engine.
Only cos I work on them, like!
