For me, number 2 as well. The clag there sure was impressive, and the shot remained very good. Bravo to the photographer!

3 for me. Even though it didn't really fit the theme quite as well (wasn't as claggy as some of the others) it was definately the better picture of the selection.

I agree with Gizmogle that number 3 was the best photo but, for me, it didn't seem fair to vote for it because, again for me, it didn't quite fit the subject matter. Number 4 shows a very handsome looking 47. Number 5 reminds me very much of Penzance. Number 7 made me cough a bit but number 2 is pure cough and splutter material (pass the gas mask) ;)

I have to vote for number TWO.

Number two purely because its a 50 and whoever said 50s don't clag is mistaken!!

Gotta ask 1 seems to be quite abit misplaced in this competition but nevertheless still a great shot but ill have to go with 3.

Really? I disagree.
I don't like it much at all.
The train isn't in the centre of the frame. It's too far away. Not really the main focus of the picture, as the spotters are too far in the foreground and draw attention to the eye before the loco itself.
I think if the picture was just focusing closely on the train and the little gantry thing, then it would have been miles better.

Although, I can't take pictures, so who am I to critisize?
