I'm guessing it's cause there's a man in the cab.

There's a person, and there's a railway. So technically, I suppose it counts?

A wide variety of shots, it's unbelievable just how photoshopped 1 looks, I know it isn't though. 12 seems very out of place though. I can barely make out someones forearm I think. Limbs and trains, now there's a slightly more sinister collection to have, no entries from the BTP though that's just cheating!

I agree on both counts (and 13 is the winner). To me number twelve looks like a class 52 that's got shrunk in the wash and, oh yes, I've just noticed an arm. When voting is over (so as not to give the entrant's name away) I'd like to know where it was taken (and I do like the photo BTW)

I see it!!! It's an arm!!! I feel so much better now - although that could be the tablets kicking in...

Bangkok Celebrity Loco (Picture 12)

Saw this locomotive three times at least when I went to Bangkok railway station.

These locos have two engines of 650hp apparently.

This one was always shunting when I saw it.

Picture 12 was the first time I had seen it.
