Unusually quick decision for me this week but gone for #6 - love the colours in the picture and the contrast of the train. Given the distance, I'm not surprised that its unidentified!!!

#6 for me.....although the Rachel shot looks slightly intrusive into a private moment, like Kate Middleton's pic on the bus with a day dreamer moment ... good but landscape wins it !! ..........plus no 1/2 empty bottle of Coke ad in there!!

An unusual discrepancy between the views on the Kettle and on the Voyager

The Brotherhood of 22x haers has this poll rigged!

I didnt vote for it but that Voyager through the Peak District is Bombadier Voyager but the new one and not 221144
You sure about that? I think I spy a blue nameplate, which rules it out being the unit named "BOMBARDIER Voyager". And that'll be the Lake District, not the Peak District ;)

I've voted for number 9. Excellent effort. :D

I've gone with 7, just love the shot of the 86s.

Loved 6 as well, but the 86s stole my heart on this one, if only for the fact it brings back memories of Hellfire...

 Only one vote? For a shot of a crimson lake "Duchess" with a matching rake of coaching stock passing one of the once great loco depots of the WCML while bearing the "Royal Scot" headboard on a Birmingham to Carlisle charter? How much more "West Coast" can you get? ;) I didn't even think the composition was too bad either. :)

Undoubtedly there's always stiff competition from those whos' photographic talent, and equipment, is much greater than mine, but occasionally the distribution of votes in these competitions does bemuse me somewhat.

Well done K9-70, I do think that your entry is a photo of some skill. And I am very grateful for my one vote, from Oswyntail I presume.

Thanks too to the kind member who voted for my photo. It seems incredible that photo was taken about 7 years ago now, but the day still reigns as one of the best days ever for me.

Bring on the next theme!

Well done to K9-70 - excellent photo you had there.

Oh, and for those people who have one vote, look which muggins was the only one to get none! :P
